  • Dry Concrete Crack Filler is a polymerized concrete designed for superior performance without the hassle of traditional crack fillers. Installation is simple, with results that look natural and clean. DCF is made with a mixed grain structure to provide uniform bonding. Fine grains allow the solution to penetrate hairline fractures to saturate the crack completely, unlike dense mortars. When exposed to water, the particles are permeated, and a bond is created as water evaporates. The result is a hardened infill that joins concrete and keeps water out, preventing further damage from freeze/thaw cycles.

  • 1. Clear crack of loose aggregate and debris

Use a brush to free the crack of any loose gravel that may have fallen in the crack. If possible use a leaf blower to clear the area of any dust.

     2. Fill crack with Dry Concrete Crack Filler

After prepping the crack, begin to fill it from bottom to top. If the crack is larger than 1", start by using pea gravel or another small aggregate for backfill before filling with Dry Crack Fill. Fill the crack in layers to allow the solution to settle uniformly. Once the crack is filled level to the concrete, compact the area to ensure the crack is packed well.

Lightly brush or blow away excess crack filler before activating.

    3. Activating by spraying with water

Now that the crack is filled, lightly mist the area with water being careful not to flood it. A good indicator that there's too much water is a white foam that will begin to coat the top layer.

    4. Allow to dry

Dry Crack Filler is a quick setting filler. After only an hour it is dry to touch and able to accommodate traffic. After 48 hours it cures fully to a hardened infill.
